Wie alle Modelle der SW Serie verfügt auch der SW 10009 über eine aussergewöhnlich leichte Schwingeinheit, was Präzision und Wirkungsgrad extrem zu Gute kommt. Dank des für undefinierte Volumen optimierten Antriebssystems ist dieser Subwoofer sehr gut für Einbauten geeignet, bei denen das Platzangebot im Innenraum eine wichtige Rolle spielt, und kein gesondertes Gehäuse gewünscht wird. Typische Anwendungen sind die Integration in Wohnwägen, Reisemobile oder Boote.
