Kleine Subwoofer sind groß in Mode. AXTON hat mit den beiden Modellen ATW16 und ATW20 zwei universell einsetzbare Subwoofer-Chassis im Programm, die in einem Bassreflex-Subwoofergehäuse verbaut oder auch als Tieftöner eines 3-Wege Systems verwendet werden können. Die steife Glasfaser/Schaum/Papier Sandwich-Membran bietet im Zusammenspiel mit dem kräftigen 120 mm Magnetantrieb eine klangstarke und kraftvolle Tieftonwiedergabe. Der hinterlüftete Stahlblechkorb und die Polkernbohrung erhöhen die Kühlleistung für die 1,5“ Schwingspule, was in einer Dauerbelastbarkeit von 75 W RMS resultiert. Mit der 2 x 2 Ohm Schwingspule sind zudem verschiedene sinnvolle Anschlussvarianten möglich. Weitere Merkmale sind die Verwendung langlebiger Connex-Zentrierspinnen, von Sicken aus Gummi und korrosionsbeständigen, vergoldeten Löt-/Steckkontaktterminals..
