Radiohersteller verwenden für den Anschluss eines Lenkradfernbedienungsinterfaces unterschiedliche Varianten.Je nach Hersteller und Gerät können Einkabelsteuerungen, Zwei- und Mehrkabelsteuerungen sowie Klinkensteuerungen Verwendung finden.
Die Anschlussvariante geht aus der BDA des Radioherstellers hervor.Alle Anschlüsse müssen vor der Verbindung des Interfaces mit dem Fahrzeug getätigt werden.Gegebenenfalls muss zusätzlich die LFB-Funktion laut BDA des Radioherstellers in einem Radiomenü angelernt werden.Vor der Endmontage auf Funktion prüfen.
